CCIS Community Health Outreach
In proud partnership with the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS)
LHC was delighted to join the CCIS for a "CCIS September Clinic" where we got to talk about liver disease and the importance of prevention. Looking forward to more collaborations as we continue to serve our newcomer communities!
A Healthy Liver, A Healthy Life
The FIRST event fully hosted by LHC in partnership with the Calgary Vietnamese Canadian Association (CVCA)!!!
LHC was delighted to fully host its first event, which was a HUGE success with 70+ in attendance! We would like to thank our partner the CVCA, without whom this event couldn't have happened. So grateful to raise awareness about liver health together!
Youth Health Day
In partnership with the Aakom-Kiyii Health Services (Piikani Nation)
The LHC team proudly joined the Piikani Nation community and presented on Metabolic dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) and Alcohol-Related Liver Disease to the teens and young adults of the community, as part of Aakom-Kiyii Health Services' Youth Health Day event.
